About me!!

I have a big family and have always liked spending time with them and my group of friends. My friends and I are very close because we’ve spent a lot of time together hang out over the years. In the small town of Honey Grove we didn’t have much to do but managed to always find something interesting to do. Like any typical small town in Texas, high school sports are big in the community. I played or attempted every sport my school offered and have always been very school spirit. I have always been an over achiever in every thing I do. I love school and learning new things that is why I was attracted to the honors college. I like the smaller community that the TAMU-Commerce campus offers because it is similar to what I was use to in high school.
The reason for me starting this blog is because i’m in English 102 and it is required. However, I like the idea that my thoughts are being read and heard by more than just my teacher. Being in this class i’m learning a lot about literacy that I have never thought of before. Literacy has always meant one thing to me and that is the ability to read, write, and understand. Yet, now i’m learning that it means so much more. To see what I see literacy as just read some of my blogs.
